Well, needless to say, them Wrangler butts STILL drive me nuts! Ha! Doesn't matter what state, town, rodeo. Does a girl's heart good.
Great rodeo and I was glad to get out and stretch after being stuck in traffic for over an hour in downtown Puyallup, Washington. Can't hardly say the name, let alone find the RED parking lot!
Moe n' Mill stayed in the 4 Runner while I enjoyed the foot stompin' and mud slingin' for three hours. Saw a few good ride but the bulls were a bit tame compared to some I've seen. Got some fine photos of guys laying back so far on the horse or bull that it truly looks like they are lying down, face up! I think they are just looking to Heaven for some mercy and thinkin' "Oh LORD, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz? My friends all ride horses, I must make amends."
There is a God!
Lots and lots of booths as it's a large fair that lasts for several weeks, the pride of the Western States, come to find out. I met two old cowboys who are artists and put out some excellent paintings. I couldn't bring myself to take a photo of their work but it's great. Can't think of their names just now. Frank Owens?
Anyway, it was a great day and it just sprinkled some so I hope the rain is past us for now.
