Just a wee update. The River Run Gallery in downtown Weed, CA opening today (6th Anniversary Celebration) went very well and I was blessed with the turn out and comments about my photos. I know I enjoy them and it brings glory to God when others ask about them and the story behind some of them. El Salvador, Thailand, Kenya,...It really is a great opportunity to launch my stuff so others can enjoy them. Thanks to all who showed up. It will be open for about a month, Weds - Sat from 12 pm - 5 pm, I think. There are some great works - Tailor made clothing, sculptures, paintings, sketches... Quite a variety.
Secondly, looks like I will take one extra day and leave Tuesday when Celestinetherenter arrives. She is gracious and will take care of my Cinco kitty who I don't think desires to be a traveler. Ya never know.
Since I will be back in 3 - 4 weeks, I can take her with me if it doesn't work out with her critters. You'll like Celestine. Certified pet massage therapist in the state of Oregon. No foolin'....
So, that's it for now besides it being FREEZING cold here and if it snows tonight, I am going south.

The 4 Runner (La Rosa) is runnin'...I think!
Well, you know how God is. La Rosa, my 4 Runner 1992 vintage model, seized up last Thursday in Redding BUT the LORD allowed me to share His love with the tow truck driver and he was so thirsty for the LORD, you wouldn't believe it! We had a sweet time together until... THE TIRE BLEW OUT ON THE TOW TRUCK! Yep! We looked at each other and laughed hard! This 28 yr old man who has served in Iraq 3 times didn't get phased by it and neither did this 54 yr old woman who has well, been through a few challenges here and there. It was pretty funny and my two dogs, Moe n' Millie thought it was great fun! We ate berries on the side of the freeway! (Read John 15)
We waited awhile and crammed into a truck with a guy who had THEE most boring life ever. There was no yakking about anything. I asked him if he had done any traveling. "Yep! He smiled. "I've been to Medford!"...Oh... Okay. No hobbies. No college. Has a 2 yr old daughter. "Yep." I was weary when we finally got home but so thankful how God cares for us.
So, La Rosa busted a few belts and froze up a bearing and Brother Bjers had her fixed up by Monday. Today we are in Redding (I been to Redding!) and we are getting the brackets put on her for the tow hitch. We are really nearly ready to launch. Less than a week. I will have to test drive the toad (That is what you call the car you tow behind a Moho) and see how she does. We'll be just about 45 feet long when all is said and done.
I'm heading to Washington for a few weeks, then perhaps back down the Oregon coast. We'll come into Siskiyou County around the end of Sept for doctor appts, dawg training and to pick up leftover photos at River Run Gallery.
October will be in Northern California, as far as I know. Santa Rosa, Redding, Perhaps Nevada City and here's a catch, I'm showing a Pointing Griffon (Coconino) in her first show in Dixon, Ca! Mind you, I haven't done this since I was 14 and was trained by a woman in SO Cal! We even went to Las Vegas. That is another story. She smoked like a chimney....
I'm telling you, God doesn't waste anything in my life. Seems it all comes around again!
Enough for now. Remember to visit my photos at the River Run Gallery in Weed, CA starting with the opening this Saturday Aug 28th from 2 pm onwards. Complimentary refreshments provided.
God's blessings on you.

Rollin' in WEED!
No foolin' - There is a car show this next Saturday (Aug 28th) in WEED, CA and I am working towards having some of my photos up in the River Run Gallery in downtown Weed, of all places! I would love to see your smiling face at the gallery and even if you are not into the car show, the galleries have some great art that you will enjoy. It's an exciting start for me and thanks to all those who have encouraged me to take the step forward and put the photos up. Hope to see you there! Hugs...Sooz
Upcoming event - The ARK sets sail soon!
"The highway, my driveway.
The Earth, my backyard.
The world, my neighbor.
Heaven, my Home."
This is our motto and our mantra, if you will. The four legged furried and two legged feathered are ready to embark but I can't seem to get the four wheeled to all be running properly at the same time!
Therefore:
The "Ark" (my Moho) will set sail tentatively on 30th of Augusto and head north for a bit to Washington, unless it gets too blasted cold!
I know many are praying and encouraging. I certainly won't be traveling alone. I take many hearts with me.
Sing it now: All night, all day O' LORDY, Angels watchin' over me, my LORD.'..
